Freddie Hall started his career as an Assistant Director, working on titles such as 'Fury,' 'I May Destroy You,' 'Mothering Sunday' and 'Justice League.' His directing experience includes 2nd Unit Directing, multiple short films, behind-the-scenes, EPK Documentaries, and Music Promos. His short film 'Best Man' starring Josh O'Connor, was nominated for best short, playing at BAFTA qualifying festivals such as Raindance, LSFF, ASFF, and BIFFA. 'Best Man' was picked up for worldwide distribution. 'Dead to the World,' starring Craig Parkinson, Susan Lynch and Jonny Sweet, enjoyed similar success and had its world premiere screening in Palm Spring FF. His final short film, 'Blood Sugar,' starring Tom Burke, premiered at the Carmarthen Bay FF and the Rhode Island Film Fest. Freddie has recently been working as the 1st Assistant Director on, 'The Cut,' starring Orlando Bloom, Caitriona Balfe and John Turturro - 'Eternal Return,' starring Naomi Scott, Kit Harington and Simon Callow - and 'The Scurry' starring Ella Purnell, Rhys Ifans, Antonia Thomas and Paapa Essiedu, directed by Craig Roberts. Freddie recently directed the 2nd Unit of ‘Eternal Return’ shooting multiple car stunts through London.
