Freddie Hall started his career as an Assistant Director, working on titles such as FURY, I MAY DESTROY YOU, MOTHERING SUNDAY and STILL UP. His directing experience covers 2nd Unit Directing, multiple Short Films, Behind the Scenes and EPK Documentaries and Music Promos.

His short film BEST MAN was nominated for best short, playing at BAFTA qualifying festivals such as RAINDANCE FILM FESTIVAL, LONDON SHORT FILM FESTIVAL, ASFF FILM FESTIVAL and BIFFA, in which Ben Hall won an award for Best Supporting Actor. BEST MAN was picked up for worldwide distribution.

DEAD TO THE WORLD, starring Craig Parkinson, Susan Lynch and Jonny Sweet, enjoyed similar success and had its world premiere screening in PALM SPRINGS SHORTFEST. His final short film, BLOOD SUGAR starring Tom Burke, was screened at CARMARTHEN BAY FILM FESTIVAL and FLICKERS’ RHODE ISLAND FILM FESTIVAL.

Freddie has just finished working as the 1st Assistant Director on ‘THE CUT’ starring Orlando Bloom, Caitriona Balfe and John Turturro and ‘ETERNAL RETURN’ starring Naomi Scott, Kit Harington and Simon Callow. Freddie has just directed the 2nd Unit for ‘ETERNAL RETURN’ and is now in prep to 1st ‘THE SCURRY’ for Craig Roberts.
